Ammonium sulfate has low caking and very low hygroscopicity, which makes it easy to store and use.
In addition to nitrogen (at least 21%), ammonium sulfate contains acids, so ammonium sulfate is a source of sulfur for food.
Ammonium, which is part of ammonium sulfate, is well available to plants, is not very mobile and does not leach from the soil, which allows its widespread use as a basic fertilizer and during spring fertilization.
Ammonium sulfate is recommended for crops that are demanding to sulfur, as well as for fertilizers on acidic and acidic soils.
